From two environments to a deployment in three steps

  1. Connect

Sign in to a production org, a sandbox, a scratch org or a Developer Edition org. Add a git repository when you want one.

  2. Compare

Select the metadata types, retrieve both sides, and review each Added or Changed component side by side, down to the line.

  3. Validate and deploy

Validate the selected components with the test level you choose, then deploy them. Every deployment keeps its record and a snapshot to roll back to.

Questions

What is Metacaliper?

Metacaliper is a Salesforce DevOps service. It compares two Salesforce environments, or an environment and a git branch, shows every metadata difference, and deploys only the components you select. Paid plans add pipelines that promote changes from a repository through each stage to Production.

Is there a free trial or a free plan?

Yes. Every new workspace has the Team plan for 14 days, without a card. Then the Free plan connects two environments and compares them, for one member, with no time limit. Deployments, snapshots and pipelines start on the Solo plan at $99 a month.

Does Metacaliper install anything in my Salesforce org?

No managed package is installed. You connect an environment by signing in to Salesforce and approving access; Metacaliper never receives the password, and you do not create a connected app. The connected user needs the API Enabled permission.

Which git providers does Metacaliper support?

GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket and Azure DevOps, including their self-hosted editions, and other git hosts by token. Pull request validation from repository events works with GitHub.

Can I roll back a deployment?

Yes. Before each deployment Metacaliper stores a snapshot of the components it changes, so a deployment can be validated for rollback and rolled back. Rollback is included in Team and above.
